The Musical Arts Institute of Chicago Presents its Chamber String Ensemble. This group of young African American String instrument artists exists to exhibit excellence in classical music and to serve the community as a beacon of excellence and inspiration. The young musicians also endeavors to expose their audiences to the beauty and artistry of classical music composed by composers of African decent. African descent.
The group rehearses most Sundays 6:00 to 8:00pm. They also perform in the community and almost every performance is a paid event.
